I got a tandem this past weekend. It is an older one made by a company called Lazer. I know of a Lazer that makes helmets, but not bikes. It has a six speed setup and a rear drum break. It is very much a cruising machine, but it will be great for Jenni and I to take on dates. Perhaps we'll put some baskets on it and take it to the store. It needs work to get it back up to snuff. That may be a winter project.
I've been busy teaching Road 1 classes this month as well. Two classes of kids. I'm not teaching Road 1 to anyone less than 16 anymore. It is a bit to much to handle.
I also have purchased a few tools. I have a Park PCS-3os repair stand sitting in my aunt's garage in California waiting for me, and a Park TS-2 truing stand out back. Now I need the tools to use with them. That will be coming soon I think. Soon it will be time to turn my attention back to things besides bike tools. I really want to get an extracycle soon. There are also the woodworking tools to get, not to mention wood, hardware, etc. for all of the projects I want to build. I also want a few bikes. To many hobbies and interests. The bikes are for fun and transportation while the woodworking stuff is for furniture and relaxation. Those are not bad things I'm thinking. The classes that I teach will help to pay for it all.
This is a bit of a rambling post. That is my life though. Design is a somewhat chaotic process and that is reflected in me.
