My wife got a screw stuck in the tire of our car last night. This seems to happen quite frequently. She made the comment that it seems like we have magnets in the tires of our car. Ordinarily it wouldn't be a big deal. We'd just wait until the tire store opened this morning and she'd take the car in to have the tire fixed. Last night was the exception. My wife's sister was coming this morning to pick up some things for their brother whom she was going out of town to visit. I was playing with our two year old daughter in the back yard at the time and the request was made that I watch our newborn son as well. I of course accepted and she hooked up the battery to her parents car which is stored in the garage. It wouldn't start. I think the battery is probably dead. At that point, I got on my bike and went to the store. Jenni made the comment when I returned home that it didn't take me much longer to go on my bike than it would have taken her in the car. I read a post (second one down) recently that was written quite a while ago by Joe Broach on his Cycler's Life blog, about why he calls himself a cycler. I think that I am a cycler too.
